Why We Use It: We formulated these lollies to be sugar-conscious because we know many of our clients are managing blood sugar, insulin resistance, or simply want to reduce refined sugar intake. Isomalt allows us to create a traditional hard candy experience without the sugar crash that can actually interfere with sleep.

Properties: Isomalt is about 50% as sweet as sugar, which is why we add a touch of honey for balanced sweetness. It doesn't promote tooth decay like sugar does. It creates beautiful, translucent clarity that lets you see the herbs inside.

Note: Isomalt can have a laxative effect in large quantities (usually 20-30g+), but at the amount in one lolli (about 10g per lolli), most people experience no digestive effects. If you're sensitive, start with half a lolli to assess tolerance.
